The ComedySportz Theatre’s wildly popular night of comedy offering three improv shows for just $2 will return Wednesday, June 19 and run weekly until next Spring. It will feature a brand new concept for the 10 PM open mic improv jam – The After Party. The After Party is an improvised party with a new “party” theme every week (a birthday party, a bar-b-que, a quinceanera, a cocktail party) where both audience and players, led by members of ComedySportz’ main ensemble, are encouraged to try out improv in a fun and supportive environment.
Returning to open up the evening at 8 PM is Genesis League – with a new cast playing new, ground-breaking short-form improv games. After that, Battle-Prov moves from its late night Thursday slot to takes the stage at 9 pm. Improv comedy's next generation takes on challengers from the Chicago comedy world. Each show features a rotating cast, a special guest team, and plenty of laughs!
After seeing all that great improv, you may be inspired to take the stage and give improv a try yourself in The After Party, or just enjoy the party while others perform.
As before, the whole night is just $2! Come when you can and stay as long as you like. Our doors and our full service bar open at 7:30 pm! Reservations are not necessary, call 773-549-8080 if you have any questions.
